High House Road Traffic Signal Now Operational
The new traffic signal at High House Road and Bond Park Drive is officially operational.
The signal was part of a larger intersection improvement project that also brought high-visibility crosswalks and other pedestrian and traffic-safety upgrades to the area around Bond Park.
The intersection sits at one of the main entrances to Bond Park, which draws heavy foot and bike traffic, especially on weekends. Residents had raised concerns for years about crossing High House Road safely near the park entrance.

The Town of Cary has been systematically upgrading intersections along High House Road as part of its broader street improvement program. The Bond Park Drive signal is one of several recent additions aimed at improving safety for pedestrians and cyclists in the area.
