Ruckus Pizza Closes Park West Village Location After 17 Years

Ruckus Pizza, Pasta & Spirits has closed its Park West Village location in Morrisville after nearly 17 years in business.

The restaurant, located at 3525 Village Market Place, served its last customers on Sunday, September 27. The closure was first reported by Triangle Business Journal.

Ruckus opened at Park West Village in 2009 and became a fixture of the shopping center, known for its pizzas, pastas, and late-night crowd. The Morrisville location was one of several Ruckus restaurants in the Triangle.

Abbey Road Tavern & Grill has acquired the lease for the space and plans to move in, which would become its third Triangle location. Abbey Road currently operates restaurants in Cary and Apex.

An opening date for the new Abbey Road location has not yet been announced.

Park West Village sits just across the Cary town line in Morrisville, but it is a regular stop for plenty of Cary residents. The shopping center has seen significant turnover in recent years as the area around it continues to develop.
