If you like shopping at local vendor markets, you’re in luck. Cary has three markets going on this weekend. Here’s how to make the most of them.
Friday night: Cary Night Market at Downtown Cary Park
From 5 to 9 p.m., Downtown Cary Park turns into a twinkly maze of 45 to 50 local makers, food trucks, and music. Lots of Halloween decorations are up at the park as well, making the Night Market a perfect excuse to come check it out.
Date: Friday, Oct. 17. Address: 327 S. Academy St. (Downtown Cary Park)
Saturday afternoon: Harvest Fest at Good Hope Farm & Fenton Makers Market
Harvest Fest will be happening from noon to 4 p.m. at Cary’s historic teaching farm. Expect sustainable vendors, farm demos, and kid-friendly activities, all surrounded by fields and lots of vendors to shop from.
Heads up: there is no on-site parking. Guests may park at 2500 Carpenter Upchurch Rd and take a free shuttle provided by the Town of Cary.
Date: Saturday, Oct. 18. Address: 1580 Morrisville Carpenter Rd.
Fenton Makers Market will be happening around the same time, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will have around 35 Triangle Pop-Up artists and plenty of spots to grab a coffee or lunch between booths. Expect live music as well.
Date: Saturday, Oct. 18. Address: 201 Fenton Main St.
