To help celebrate Pride month, the town of Cary is hosting several events during throughout June.
The Cary Theater will be showing several pride films during the month. You can view showtimes on the official Town of Cary Website and purchase tickets ahead of time. The first film (Kiki, a documentary about LGBTQ youth in Harlem, New York whom are a part of an underground ballroom) will be available to watch on June 10th at 7:30 PM.
A pop-up art project will be on display in downtown Cary throughout the month, featuring a light-up sculpture designed by artist Matt McConnell.
Additionally, The Cary Arts Center in downtown will display special pride-colored lights on the building from June 2-4, as well as June 23-25 at dusk.
